Sweet Billy Pilgrim – Free Download

I first discovered Sweet Billy Pilgrim back in 2005 or so. I can’t even remember the blog that first wrote about them, but I have been a die-hard fan ever since. They have a cool banjo-prog-laptop-twisted sound that I just love.

They teamed with Mojo this week and are making their most recent album available for free download through the site. The band’s front man, Tim Elsenburg, writes about their reasoning behind giving the album away in this Huffington Post piece. Tim was a guest on my podcast a few weeks ago, you can check that out here.

Anyway, I love pretty much everything they do, Tim is hilarious on Twitter, and here’s a free album. It’s a win win win win! Oh, minus one win, but whatever.

Download it here and let me know what you think!

Heres a video from it:
